It's that time of the year when your search for a new season cover up commences. Ideally mine always has to resemble a bath robe of some sort, and mother can attest to that. The robe coat is as easy to wear as it is to take on and off, and nothing says cozy dressing like a luxuriant number in neutrals or jewel tones.
Granted, I'm still waiting on one that's been sized up to epic proportions, but the looser versions with cascading waterfall collars have an almost timeless appeal and are best cinched at the waist. I like to be slightly dramatic, however, and have worn them unbelted to be carried by the wind.
