spring swing

Belted waterfall coat in mauve pink, printed plunge playsuit and high-leg faux leather heeled boots in tan from Missguided

There are certain hallmarks of the spring season and one quite apparent is the relaxed slouch sighted on all the major runways. Granted, I am big on classic tailoring and sharp silhouettes, but the idea of being a bit more loose and having that wake of fabric waft around as you soldier on is honestly quite appealing. None of the fuss, as we know it.

In the same vein, Missguided has enveloped and wrapped me in yards of blanket love, and for that extra effortless undone-in-all-the-right-spots drama, I've worn it off-shouldered and concluded the look with these smashing patent boots.

Blanket wrap poncho with faux fur collar in tan, khaki green mini skirt with silver bar detail and over-the-knee cut-out faux suede grey heeled boots from Missguided

Probably my favourite skirt at the moment, I've paired this khaki kid with the everyday basic tee and topped it off with a sweeping blanket wrap. To keep things from getting overly sloppy, a hint of decadent suede and a pair of mirrored sunglasses were the cherry on top. The wind is, of course, the ultimate wham factor.

So, say it with suede, say it with me: Missguided understands our obsession with all things new.

Thank goodness.
