November coming along is a cue for all of us to refresh our makeup and beauty routines for the upcoming holidays. Truly, 'tis the season for glowy skin and high shine eyeshadow, or a bright red lippie if you prefer. Whatever it is, we can all agree that a change is always nice.
In the same fashion, websites are always changing and moving, and Luxola has now been rebranded to Sephora.com.au – and this can only be a good thing. Put simply, Sephora is finally online and my then eighteen year old dream is finally a reality so I thought I'd share some of my picks!
A couple of classic favourites from Sephora.com.au: Sephora's Smart Liner that is water and smudge-proof, Make Up For Ever Aqua Matic eyeshadow pencil in diamond golden grey that is unbelievably blendable and stays put, and Sephora's Crayon lèvres glossy lip pencil in pale pink that glides on as a perfect shade of nude.
For those days when you have a mere few minutes to get ready, Sephora Colorful Blush in Can't Stop Smiling and LAQA & Co Honeypot Lip Lube Pencil is the perfect everyday-wear combination. Dab highlighter on the apple of your cheeks, the tip of your nose, and the cupid's bow of your lips for extra freshness and illumination.
One of Sephora's bestsellers, it comes as no surprise that Alpha-H Liquid Gold has a cult following. It basically works like an overnight facial to revitalize tired skin and prevents wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage. Once applied to the face, body and neck, you might feel a slight tingling sensation –– this is normal so don't worry! I personally haven't tried out the product for long enough to claim loyalty, but so far I like it and would recommend for anyone to give it a go.
Another favourite of mine is Sephora's Crayon lèvres glossy lip pencil in pale pink that I use almost all the time. Its creamy formula is the perfect compromise between a gloss and a balm, delivering a texture that glides on velvety smooth with a hydrating finish. So easy to touch up too!
Finally, finish your looks off with Sephora Eau De Toilette in Chocolate. It really is as delicious-smelling as this tub of brownie fudge ice cream I'm currently feeding on, and is also mini sized enough to accompany you on-the-go. Smell good pull good, as they say.
